Referring to the band in past tense

[edit]

Since the band is technically and spiritually in hiatus with main members not ruling out continuing to make music together in the future, it seems wrong to refer to it in past tense.--lmaxmai (talk) 06:41, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, the article states that the band in its whole announced a breakup while peculiarly only citing the following statement by Bixler-Zavala: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mars_Volta#cite_note-AT-4

This means that most members would like to get back together, this would however require all of them to work through individuals' personal sentiments and everyone involved thus being careful. This band clearly is on a break and not broken up.--lmaxmai (talk) 07:08, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Evaluating The Mars Volta Page

[edit]

Donchingerzz (talk) 22:02, 28 February 2017 (UTC)This page on Mars Volta seems to be accurate as the authors have referenced and cited a variety of sources. With that being said, there is one quote on the page that seems to have been made up, or, the author just forgot to put the quotation in quotation marks. There is no bias language such as "the best" or "many believe" leading me to believe the article is written from a neutral standpoint.[reply]
