Talk:Micro Machines

I'm fairly certain that Micro Machines were a line of tiny metal/plastic cars made in the 1980s (and probably the early 1990s), upon which the games are ostensibly based. I was expecting this page to be about those, not the games. Does anyone have any information on those? --Milkmandan 06:31, 2005 Feb 14 (UTC)

Yea. Some of the later series included new city zones that were either compact(all single piece city and foldable) or separate pieces of locations that could be used whatever way the player wished and the "Micro Machines Military"(Tanks, military jeeps, soldiers and fighters etc...). I used to be an avid collector of Military and city series. Might be good to mention those at the site as the video games were inspired by them.

Can someone see if they can find any information about the upcoming PS2 and PSP Micro Machines game? It was featured in a brochure of Codemasters' upcoming games but their website doesn't say anything about it. --DK 03:45, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

Micro Machines

Hi there, I added some information hoping to clarify some things, and adding additional info. I tried to keep the information concise. I also added a link to my webpage that is devoted to the micro scale cars.

Reposted my website

Not sure why it was deleted.. but if it was because of the link on my website to my storefront, I have deleted that link. I feel that I had added enough relevant information to include my website as a reference link. External links, like all other additions, need to be appropriate for the article regardless of the adding editors other contributions. Are there any collectors' magazines or articles newspapers about collecting Micro Machines? Failing that where do collectors or enthusiasts turn for reliable information? Commercials

If I recall, the commercials all contained the words "just like the real thing, only smaller", but ended with "If it doesn't say Micro Machines, it's not the real thing" Can anyone back me up on that? --Othernash 07:45, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Toward the end they sold out and made a line called Macro Machines. I was hoping to read more about them here. Anyone have more info about Macro Machines? Shouldn't the article have a mention?
