Montefioralle
[edit]@Agmonsnir: Why do you want to include the photo of Montefioralle? It is not mentioned anywhere in the article. What does it add? GA-RT-22 (talk) 14:14, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comment. I added now a source (formal site of the region) that states (in Italian, but still) the claims that Vespucci was born in Montefioralle. Even though it might be a myth, it is worth mentioning (and people who visit the place see a plaque on the house that claimed to be where he was born). I hope that now it is OK Agmonsnir (talk) 15:06, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
- Is that what it says? I thought "casa nativa della famiglia" meant that it was the family's house, or maybe the birth house of the family, not that it was Amerigo's birthplace. I've asked for help with the translation at User talk:Jmabel. GA-RT-22 (talk) 15:37, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
- In Italian nativa also means originaria (en. "originally"), therefore the meaning is that the Vespucci's family was originally from Montefioralle, while Amerigo was born in Florence (as per sources). LukeWiller (talk) 15:48, 24 August 2024 (UTC).
- Mmmm... indeed, you are correct. Thank you, both, GA-RT-22, LukeWiller! I changed the statement to be more precise. Please feel free to edit, if you have a better phrasing. Agmonsnir (talk) 16:07, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

Citations on Info Card's "Other Names" section?
[edit]No citations for this section? Was doing some research until I realized this. Maybe put in an edit request for a citation missing tag on that section? Not sure. Lule345 (talk) 12:13, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
