User talk:Cehjohnson~enwiki
Hello, Cehjohnson.
A few tips for you:
- Check out Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers + the links in there.
- You can sign your stuff on talk pages with ~~~~ It will convert to your username + the time. "anon" is fine too.
- If puzzled, put a question on Wikipedia:Village pump.

P. S. Please do not continue replacing the same unencyclopaedic content which I have repeatedly deleted.
Hi. Creating subpages is frowned-upon; put the answer to Trays on the same page. Furthermore, in this particular case ANSWER is the name of a prominent anti-war group, so should be reserved for an article on that topic, not the answer to a random math problem. --Delirium 19:46 15 Jul 2003 (UTC)
- I'll ask you again; please do not persist in re-adding deleted pages. If you disagree with their deletion, request they be undeleted at Wikipedia:Votes for undeletion. --Delirium 19:58 15 Jul 2003 (UTC)
If you really want to work on maths problems and their solutions, why don't you head over to Textbook and work there? But please, use less ambiguous names. Why not try "The tray problem" or some variant? -- Jim Regan 20:16 15 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Hi. Use the wikipedia:sandbox for experiments. Thanks. Koyaanis Qatsi 20:17 15 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Apologies to all concerned. I didn't realize i was posting in anything important. Incidentally the sandbox link is not visible anymore. Thanks for the tip about Textbox Jim
- The Wikipedia family is a rapidly growing thing, and since textbook is a new project, it could do with the contributors. And I'd like to thank you in reciprocation; I'd forgotten about it :) -- Jim Regan 17:48 17 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Cehjohnson. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Cehjohnson~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
