Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!
Also, editors don't sign their articles. You can view the history of an article by clicking the "history" tab at the top of every article. The history show all people who have edited an article and when the edit occurred.
