Redundancy eliminated
[edit]In order to fight redundancy, I changed "Franklin D. Roosevelt appointed her as the first woman director of the U.S. Mint on May 3, 1933, (she was the first woman to hold that post as well) where she served five full terms until her retirement in 1953, when the Republicans regained the White House" to "Franklin D. Roosevelt appointed her as the first female director of the U.S. Mint on May 3, 1933, where she served five full terms until her retirement in 1953, when the Republicans regained the White House." Birthplace
[edit]I changed it to reflect the actual birthplace in Andrew County. Amazonia is part of the St. Joseph metropolitan area and so St. Joseph is often used in the biographies. But the cited sources narrow it down to a more specific location. Americasroof 20:30, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Name
[edit]Nellie Tayloe Ross is incorrect, it should be Nellie Taylor Ross. 72.147.136.9 (talk) 00:21, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, its pretty clearly Tayloe. See [1] CosmicPenguin (Talk) 01:59, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
"Official" Homepage and Documentary
[edit]This website appears to have been created by her grandchildren and has some useful information. It also appears to be promoting an upcoming documentary so I'm not sure if it should be on the front page. Ando228 (talk) 17:56, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Vice presidential candidate?

- Seems noteworthy, thanks. Ando228 (talk) 15:08, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
logical problem
[edit]If her husband was the 12th governer and she followed, how could Nellie be the 14th governer? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.173.141.37 (talk) 18:19, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
