[edit]Can I be bold and enclose this message in <small> ? ✏ Sverdrup 20:09, 18 Apr 2004 (UTC)
I think "Redirected from" is clearer than "via", so I have changed it back. Maximus Rex 20:41, 1 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Remove leading spaces
[edit]This edit request has been answered. Set the |answered= or |ans= parameter to no to reactivate your request. |
Please remove the
from the beginning of this message.
Rationale:
- The spaces cause the message to be misaligned with other "subtitle" messages. You can see an example of that at User:Amalthea/rd1, where "(Redirected from User:Amalthea/rd1)" looks indented compared to "Redirect page" and subpage breadcrumbs.
- The spaces make it more difficult to make software changes to improve how the "subtitle" messages look, see the discussion about aligning messages in T306675 and T307715.
- The spaces were added in 2008 with the explanation that "Message conflicts with subpage message", unfortunately the screenshot linked there is no longer available, and the author @CBM themself is inactive since 2018. There doesn't seem to be any conflict now, as far as I can see.
