A little bit about me
[edit]Hello, my name's Clym Stock-Williams, and after graduating from Oxford University with a Physics degree, I now work for a major utility company investigating marine renewables. I am English, and I think this is reflected in my interests (see below)! Oh, and I joined Wikipedia on January 16 2005.
Interests
[edit]Music:
[edit]- I play the 'cello, organ, sing (tenor) and also conduct on occasion.
- Enjoy many styles of composition, but have a special interest in the music of J.S. Bach, Dmitri Shostakovich and Sir Edward Elgar.
Literature:
[edit]- Probably largely due to my name (from The Return of the Native), I read a lot of Thomas Hardy.
Science:
[edit]- Obviously physics, but I'm hopeful for the prospects of properly-harnessed Fusion power.
Current work on Wikipedia
[edit]- I'm currently in the research stage for an article on August Jaeger, publisher and friend of Edward Elgar.
